We've been working in the camp and adventure industry since the '70's............helping to develop the resources and programming to create unique, sustainable, responsible and fun activities for camps, adventure programs, resorts, ranches and recreation programs.
Adventure Resources combines the efforts of a variety of experienced and respected professionals who work together as needed to create and implement adventure activity and amenity structures.
We can provide the full range of services required for each project including vision, design and the actual hands-on field work required to create the actual physical structures at each location. In short, we like to get our hands dirty and we like to design and build things based on the unique needs of each individual client.
We're a small team and limit the number of projects we work on at any given time. We're committed to quality and sustainable construction and are known to work within budget and to complete jobs ahead of schedule. There are a bunch of outstanding construction people all over the place. There are very few that understand the full scope of what is required to create and construct a feature, amenity or activity that is specific to the needs of each location and/or client.
Whether you're looking for ideas or have a vision and are looking for the manpower and expertise to make it a reality-- contact us and let's talk. It costs little to explore possibilities and in many cases hiring Adventure Resources may be the most cost-effective way to pursue your goal. How about adding on to your climbing wall, building a mountain bike terrain park, a trail map, developing a mountain bike program, a pump track, geo-cache course, an edible organic garden yardscape, hiking trails, or developing a climbing crag.......the list is long and we're ready to get to work.....

Projects
We've been building all kinds of things for more years than we care to admit. We've done plenty of small jobs for folks that are in a crunch and need a particular thing done quickly.
We've also been involved in numerous large projects that in many cases permanently enhance the scope of what a particular client has to offer. Some big projects are just big toys and some provide tremendous value to everyone that gets to enjoy them. Often, leaders and property owners know what they need to do, but just lack the time or manpower to get it done in a timely manner or in a way that best utilizes available resources.
Whatever the case, Adventure Resources is around to help. Here are some photos to show some of what we have done in the past.

We've been back at it for a while now. The spring of 2011 was mostly consumed with a variety of camp building projects at Camp Eagle in Texas.
We spent the summer months up in the mountains of Colorado working on a restoration of an historic log cabin, further developing our sustainable educational farm, Tarryall Mountain Farms, restoring an historic log barn and doing a variety of projects at the Bison Peak Lodge and the Outpost Wilderness Adventure Base Camp.
We headed back to the Texas Hill Country in Fall, 2011 and spent the fall and early winter constructing about 3/4 mile of new trail at Camp Eagle. The trail is for runners, walkers and mountain bikers and provides access to the camp's new 3000' zip line.

New program ideas anyone? Bike parks, BMX tracks, pump tracks, jump areas and flow trails are all the rage in areas where biking is at the forefront. These facilities are solving a real problem for many locations-- creating a facility that accomodates a variety of skill levels and keeps the clientele engaged, in one general location, having a good time, learning skills and being challenged within the scope of their fitness and ability level.
